The Kickstart Scheme is the creation of new 6-month job placements for young people (aged 16-24-years-old) who are currently on universal credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.
We are an education-based institution and are looking for an administrator who is a team player and able to support the team with admin duties including:
Greet and assist visitors
Provide information by answering the telephone, questions and dealing with queries
Maintain contact lists
Manage learner bookings for inductions, workshops and one-to-one support
Contact learners via phone, email and text messages
Maintain paper-based and electronic learner records
Provide admin support to the tutor and Centre Lead
Good team player
Able to follow directions
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Essential skills, experience and qualifications: Admin skills – Although full training will be provided.
Number of hours per week: 40 hours per week
Working pattern and contracted hours:
Wednesday & Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm
Thursdays 9:00am – 8:00pm.
Details of employability support (training opportunities/mentor):
Each candidate will be provided an in-house mentor, who will have the appropriate experience. Through our experience we believe this to be incredibly important to support the candidate through their journey. This allows the candidate to be supported through employability skills, life skills and emotionally.
We will also, with consultation with the candidate put them onto to an appropriate level course, which will be fully accredited and delivered in house.
CTP work closely with employment agency through our employability task force. This will help the candidate identify potential employment.
