The starting salary is £8.50 per hour (Level One) rising to £8.55 per hour (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

Nottingham City Council Cleaning Services currently have part-time vacancies for cleaning staff based at various establishments across the city. We are looking to recruit hard working and responsible individuals who are able to manage their own workload and have experience in providing a cleaning service.
As a cleaner you will be required to deliver and promote an excellent cleaning service. This will include carrying out a range of cleaning duties including sweeping, vacuum cleaning, floor polishing, dusting, mopping and maintaining sanitary items across Nottingham City Council Buildings.
- Willing to work between 10 - 15 hours per week between the hours of 6:00am - 9:00am & 3:00pm - 6:00pm Monday to Friday.
- Be able to to commit to the required hours of this role and potential overtime as and when the business requires.
- Willing to be trained to carry out a range of cleaning duties, including using different equipment and materials safely.
- Be able to work well within a team and communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers.
