Community Recording Studio (CRS) is a registered charity and has been serving the community for 30 years

We offer a creative space staffed by skilled workers and volunteers. The facilities include a studio and arts- and sports-provision providing support and guidance for our young people. We are building on this legacy and also have bold plans for the future and need someone to help us reinforce our foundation-stone

About the role:

Community Recording Studio (CRS) is seeking a Centre Manager to manage its projects and program delivery team, as well as to take care of its facilities

The Support Manager will have responsibility for all aspects of people, projects and facilities management. This includes upholding and managing Safeguarding. This also includes financial budgets, health and safety processes, planning and management of services and resources, contract management, and oversight of administration

The post-holder will also have responsibility for implementing systems and structures required for fulfilment of this management and to this end, working closely together with the CEO

Key responsibilities:

  • Safe and Effective Management of Service-delivery, People and Facilities
  • Overall management of all administrative systems, record keeping and governance policy and processes
  • Management of services and projects such that service-users are safe and satisfied, staff are motivated and effectively deployed and facilities are well utilised
  • Oversight of project planning on annual, monthly and weekly basis
  • Maintaining, monitoring and commissioning work
  • Manage and update a register of risk for services and update on this to the CEO and CRS Board of Directors regularly
  • Supporting all facilities users to work in a collaborative way in order to ensure that building facilities can run in the most effective way for the benefit of the community

Hours of work:

37.5 hours a week

Additional information:

The primary location for work will be the facilities at Lowdham Street, Nottingham.

However, the post-holder may be required to work in other locations within Nottingham and surroundings to deliver the role.
