This is a 12 month fixed term apprenticeship and you must be committed to work towards a level 2 or 3 Diploma in Business and Administration.

About the role:
We are excited to be able to offer an administration apprenticeship opportunity working within the medical administration team, based at Abbeyfields.
You will work alongside the team providing support in a range administration duties including audio typing, answering telephone enquiries, sorting post, electronic scanning of documents and updating records, as well as other general office duties.
You will be supported to develop lots of new skills including; prioritisation, attention to detail, using your own initiative and the ability to work in a busy and fast paced environment.
You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with good organisational skills. You will need to be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of confidentiality issues, be well motivated and reliable. You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and be able to remain calm under pressure. You will present a professional and polite attitude at all times.
You will learn and develop skills using Microsoft Office and NHS systems.
- 4 GCSE’s or equivalent including English and Maths.
- Proficient typing skills
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship training
- Ability to demonstrate basic numeracy and literacy skills
Hours of work:
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
