About the role:

We are looking for enthusiastic, professional, and knowledgeable people with range of experience either form the money advice/welfare rights sector or with transferable skills We want people who are enthusiastic about giving an effective service to those most in need. You will need to demonstrate that you can engage skilfully with clients who are vulnerable and distressed and have proven skills at working in a busy environment. You will be a highly motivated strong team player with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will have the ability to understand written and oral information of some complexity; have good numeracy skills sufficient to compile. Provide the advice and/or casework through a mixture of channels including face to face To explore the client’s situation, including household and financial circumstances and details.

Identify areas of income maximisation, e.g benefit claims 

Present information and advice to empower clients to act on their own behalf

Explore options and implications to enable the client to make informed decisions

Provide full casework to the client where necessary

Support and assist with benefit applications including disability benefits

Hours of work:

24-30 hours per week
