About the role:
The department comprises various assessment and review focused teams, as well as specialised services and programmes / project teams that focus on re-engaging citizens with their community and encouraging creative support planning.
The City Safeguarding team are a crucial and fast paced team who work with adults and older people who are at risk and are experiencing adult abuse. The team work within the Care Act to ensure that appropriate support and interventions are in place. Making Safeguarding Personal is a key element in this role to ensure that the person’s outcomes are considered and this is balanced with risk. Multi-agency working is also essential in supporting the vulnerable person in protection planning and minimising risk.
