Supported by state of the art technology, the shared service offers a sustainable solution to deliver more efficient, cost effective services and a technical platform from which new ways of working can continually be developed and delivered. EMSS brings a more customer centric way of working, it adopts a more efficient approach to delivering services and by sharing the knowledge and investment, the risk of failure to each council is minimised.  

About the role:

We are seeking highly motivated and professional applicants with excellent levels of customer service experience, strong administration, numeracy and IT skills. They must be quick to learn and able to work with a high level of accuracy and commitment. They must be flexible and adaptable in the face of challenges but have empathy for their colleagues and customers. The role involves Registering Births or Deaths by appointment, administration work, working alongside events organisers and conducting and registering weddings and civil partnerships.  

The role is based at the Council House, Old Market Square but requires travelling to licenced sites within Nottingham City boundaries with transport being provided.  

Hours of work:

Part Time , Hours per week – 22.2
