We are looking for an Apprentice who will commit to our organisation, are able to demonstrate a great work ethic and want to develop and enhance their skills.

Functions within the service are Fleet Management (which is classed as vehicle and driver management) and can include a range of functions, such as vehicle procurement, leasing and financing, licensing and compliance and accident management; vehicle telematics (tracking and diagnostics), driver management, speed management, fuel management, health and safety management, and vehicle re-marketing.
Fleet Management is a function which allows organisations like Nottingham City Council which rely on fleet operations in the organisation to remove or minimise the risks associated with vehicle investment, improving efficiency, productivity and reducing the overall fleet operations costs, and providing 100% compliance with government legislation (duty of care) and many more.
The successful candidate will work as part of a team to train and learn the extensive requirements of vehicle procurement and disposal for the Councils fleet and assets. They will work to ensure competency and skill is obtained to ensure compliance with statutory legislation, the legal requirements of the Councils Operator Licence, DVSA requirements and internal Council policies and procedures.
