About the role:

Cherry Trees is a modern residential care home in Bestwood for elderley citizens with a range of needs. including dementia. Citizens may be either short term or longer term residents dependent on their identified needs
Care workers at level 2 provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support in a way that maintains their dignity, maximises independence and choice and control over the way their care is deleveloped
This includeswriting and maintaining individuals care plans and the administration of medication

 ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to assess social care and health needs and develop and implement, maintain and update person centred care plans
  • Experience of, ability to provide support and guidance to colleagues and be able to deal with emergency and difficult situations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to administer medication in line with departmental policies and procedures
