About the role:

Cherry Trees is a modern residential home in Bestwood Park for citizens with a range of needs, including dementia.

Care workers at level 2 provide safe and appropriate personalised care and support to citizens in a way that maintains their dignity, maximises independence and gives them control over the way their care is delivered.

This includes writing and maintaining individual person centred care plans, the administration of medication and keeping accurate records in line with legislation and departmental procedures.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Experience  of, ability to provide support and guidance to colleagues and to be able to deal with emergency and difficult situations.
2.Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse and social cultural backgrounds
3. A level of general fitness appropriate to undertake the duties of the post.
