CARETAKER

Job Description

The Vale Community Association have a vacancy for a Caretaker at The Venue, Wollaton Vale (Vale Community Centre).
Duties will include opening and closing, security, cleaning, minor repairs, welcoming users. Some late nights will be required to close after bookings and ensure renters have left and left the premises in a clean and good condition. The caretaker is an essential part of the community team and will work under the supervision of the centre administrator to ensure its smooth running.
Working hours will be 20 hours per week (possibly increasing in the future depending on demand) with a flexible approach required to meet the various requirements of users.
Pay will be the National Living Wage, with 4 weeks leave a year.
