Economic Growth and Regeneration Manager
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a candidate with an ambition to shape strategy and drive forward economic growth, regeneration initiatives and projects within the Borough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping, delivering and monitoring initiatives and interventions to support local business growth, skills and employment including identifying partnering and funding opportunities.
This will include identifying and implementing programmes to revitalise and sustain local town centres and areas of deprivation within the Borough.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and lead master planning exercises whilst managing the submission and monitoring of funding bids.

Essential Criteria:
| Working knowledge of processes and criteria for accessing external funding including reporting and producing monitoring returns |
| Experience of preparing and delivering successful funding applications |
| Experience of programme and project management |
| Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders and partners to facilitate economic growth and development through promoting and delivering shared priorities |
| Experience of developing robust business cases, implementing programmes and tracking performance |
| Experience of leading project teams and procuring advisors and work/studies/briefs |
| Experience of commercial agreements to enable economic growth and regeneration projects |
| Experience of performance management, setting goals and targets Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in economic growth, regeneration or related field |
