Fixed term 6 months contract
The starting salary is £21,968 (Level One) rising to £22,777 (Level Two) on the first year anniversary, subject to satisfactory completion of a probation period (pro rata for part time workers).

About the role:
The Behavioural and Emotional Health (BEH) team provides interventions for children and young people aged 0-18 (or up to 24yrs with a disability) and their families/carers, where children and young people present with behaviour / conduct which is indicative of ASD and or ADHD or post diagnostic support.
The post holder will be an integral part of a small specialist and fast paced team, where every day is different and therefore there are exciting opportunities to grow as a professional and also contribute to the teams transformation.
The post holder will work alongside the dedicated SPA (Single Point of Access) Team in Nottingham City provide initial screening of referrals against the BEH criteria.
The post holder will receive and manage electronic and telephone referrals and queries from parents/carers and professionals.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- A basic knowledge of Child Development, including ASD / ADHD and the associated / presenting behaviours.
- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with children and adults, building good working relationships with families and over-come barriers.
- Experience of processing personal and sensitive data in line with GDPR and Information Compliance policy.
