Futures for Business are recruiting an Apprentice business administrator of behalf of Yu Energy to join there busy team in Nottingham, reporting to the Back-Office Manager.

Yu Energy are a Business Gas and Electricity supplier on a mission to shake-up the UK business energy market. As business energy specialists, Yu Energy work in partnership with our customers to find the right solution for their business.

The Back-Office prides itself with providing the best customer experience and efficient processes. The team ensures a smooth transfer for customers joining the business, and are also responsible for ensuring the Billing System delivers billing requirements in a timely fashion, which includes dealing with complex billing queries. The team is also responsible for liaising with third party agents to resolve high level exception queries together with monitoring/executing business settlement performance in line with industry standards.

Your role:

To support the Back Office with 1st line support queries within the Transfers Department & from different areas within the business.

The role will also include learning & development of day to day support of queries and meeting designated deadlines. This role will provide gaining essential employments skills such as time keeping, organisation, prioritisation & relationship building at all levels. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Learning to assist with inbound & outbound email queries
  • Learning to support Transfers Advisors with 1st line queries
  • Developing skills to manage deadlines and stake holders expectation
  • Assisting with email inboxes and managing time
  • Administration of Meter Readings into the billing system
  • Learning & developing numerical skills
  • Developing & Learning relationship skills with key Stake Holders.
  • Assisting with recording written information on systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines

Essential Skills/Qualifications

  • GCSE, Grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Willing to learn & develop new skills
  • A good accuracy of attention to detail require
  • Able to manage time effectively

Desirable Skills

  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and a strong team player
  • Confident in handling written correspondence
