Nottingham Revenues and Benefits Ltd processes claims for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support and administers Council Tax for its shareholder, Nottingham City Council and other clients. We are seeking highly motivated and committed individuals to join our customer contact and Benefit assessment teams.
As a Benefit Assessment Officer at NRB Ltd you will be responsible for dealing with all aspects of the administration and financial assessment of claims for Housing Benefit and/or the Council Tax Support scheme. This includes the assessment of Universal Credit based claims. You will deal directly with customers over the telephone, face to face and via written communication, taking ownership for their enquiry and seeing it through to conclusion. The role will be based at Loxley House in central Nottingham.
Full training and support will be provided to ensure you develop a full technical working knowledge of Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support to ensure delivery against the service purpose; to help people pay their rent and Council Tax.
Key Skills required
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a telephone interview in w/c 04/11/2019.
Those that progress to the next level will be invited to attend testing (assessment) in w/c 11/11/2019 and those who pass the test will attend face-to-face interviews w/c 18/11/2019
With a scheduled start date of 13/01/2020.
