About Us

Canal Engineering Training Academy (CEATA) is the training leg of our parent company, Canal Engineering, which is a successful, local manufacturing business that delivers projects all across the world. Our dedication to advancing career prospects and improving the quality of engineering training makes us highly regarded in both the education and engineering sectors.

What Can We Help With?

We work in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions, Nottingham City Council, and other local organisations to deliver bespoke engineering programmes for young people, disadvantaged and/or economically inactive (unemployed) individuals.

Our Offer

We provide workshops to give you a taste of the engineering sector and give you the employability skills you need to improve your chances of finding work. Also, suitable candidates will be referred on to one of our Level 1 or Level 2 Engineering courses, which will be starting after the Nottingham Works 4 You (NW4You) programme has finished.
