Nottingham City Council has selected 6 Home Care providers to deliver Home Care to the citizens of Nottingham.

These are Ace Care, Comfort Call, Direct Health, Meridian Health and Social Care, Nationwide and Westminster Healthcare.

This service enables people to live independently in their own homes and now, more than ever, Nottingham needs people to come forwards and take on Care Worker roles with these providers.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable adults across Nottingham.

You will support individuals and their families in accordance with their individual care plans, helping them to live as independently as possible.

No two days are the same, and you will be making a real difference to the lives of the people you help.

You may be involved with tasks such as: helping people in and out of bed, assisting with personal care, assisting or prompting medication, helping with meal preparation and keeping an eye on their well-being.

You do not need experience of working within the care sector.

Applications are welcomed from people who have worked in other industries such as hospitality, leisure, retail, tourism, beauty, childcare, etc.

All in all, if you are a patient, empathetic and compassionate individual, then this is your opportunity to take on a role within a stable industry that offers excellent long term job prospects.
