The Job As Support Workers or Senior Support Workers you will;

  • Be a companion and build positive relationships with vulnerable adults
  • Enhance your customer’s independence and improve their quality of life
  • Support the customers to become participating members of their community
  • Assist with day to day independent skills
  • Support the customers to access the community

Additional responsibilities for the Senior Support Workers will include; 

  • Completing office compliance and auditing paperwork
  • Having the on-call phone in the evening and weekends (shared with the team on a rota)
  • 50 % time spent supporting customers, 50% time spent completing office duties

The Person;  No previous experience needed! But to be considered for the Support Worker positions you will need;

  • The ability to build positive professional relationships with customers and colleagues
  • To be reliable, consistent and friendly, with an eye for attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings and night shifts including weekends
  • Good judgement and a sense of responsibility with limited supervision

To be considered for the Senior Support Worker positions you will need the above and the following experience;·         

  •  A minimum of 1 years’ experience working with people with mental health conditions or learning disabilities
  • QCF / NVQ Level 2 & 3 Health & Social Care (Adults)
