The Sybil Levin Day Service is a specialist SPECAL-led day service supporting people with dementia and their carers using the SPECAL method, run by Age UK Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.
Hours: 20 per week (over 5 days, Monday – Friday)
Salary: £9.50 per hour
Scale: AUNN Band A (£18,278 per annum, FTE)
Based: Sybil Levin Health & Wellbeing Centre, Nuthall Road, Nottingham
The Cook will be responsible for cooking and serving a range of nutritious homemade meals, ensuring all dietary needs are met.
Candidates should possess good cooking skills and knowledge of basic Food Hygiene. The ability to work within a busy team and effective organisational skills are also a must.
PURPOSE OF THE POST
To prepare and serve a lunch time two course meal, snacks, and drinks to centre attendees.
To ensure all meals/snacks/drinks meet the dietary needs of centre attendees.
To work and support a small team of volunteers who will be supporting you in your role.
