This training is aimed at those learners, who wish to work in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport and office environments, who may come into contact with hazardous substances. It gives learners the knowledge, skills and understanding to recognise the risks and control measures when dealing with substances hazardous to health.
This one-day course covers: -
- Understanding the roles of employees and employers in COSHH
- Understanding the effects of exposure to hazardous substances
- Understanding how risk assessments help in the safe use of hazardous substances
This course will take place on Tuesday 17th September, 9.30-4.30 at Nottingham College, Maid Marian Way.
This course is free to those that are unemployed and in receipt of a means tested benefit. To be eligible for funding you must be 19 or over and have lived in the UK or EU for the last 3 years as of August 1st 2019.
