We are looking for two enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistants to support the relaunch and growth of our community exercise classes across Derby and its surrounding areas, and the launch of new online local activity finder. 

To ensure success as a Digital Marketing Assistant, you should have a strong desire to develop skills in digital marketing through the application of existing and new knowledgeIdeal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, well-organised, be willing to self-learn from online training resources, and have a genuine interest in the health and wellbeing sector. 

You will be reporting directly to the company Director and assisting with all related tasks.  

 

Digital Marketing Assistant Responsibilities: 

Composing and posting in Facebook groups and pages and responding to feedback.  

Developing the use of Instagram, Twitter, and other platforms not currently exploited. 

Generating video content for use across all digital marketing channels. 

Keeping the website updated including regular publishing of new content. 

Maintaining Google My Business listings and collaborating with the team to build reviews. 

Conducting market research and analysing marketing surveys. 

Building email lists in Excel spreadsheets. 

Running email campaigns including the use of Mailchimp or equivalent. 

Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages. 

The ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders and networks. 

 

Essential skills, experience and qualifications:

Previous Marketing skills would be desirable.  

Positive attitude and excellent timekeeping is essential.  

GCSE English Grade C or above or Functional skills Level  

Knowledge of social media platforms. 

Experience of digital video creation.  

Knowledge of spreadsheets. 

Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects. 

 

Working pattern:

1st Role Monday to Friday 8.30am -1.30pm  

2nd Role Monday to Friday 11am- 4pm 

Flexibility to cover hours on occasions in the evening and at weekends for Marketing Events and content generation. 

 

The Company Director will support and work directly with successful participants.  

Training will be provided in understanding the activities of the company and the operation processes.  

Support with identifying ongoing training and resources to maximise and upskill the development of the participants.  

There will be the opportunity to be involved in the development of a new Marketing systems for the company. 

The successful participants will be mentored and supported with Supervision, developing skills and Career Progression Pathways with our Non-Executive Director’s Team  

Successful Participants will be involved in Team Meetings to discuss planning and development.  

Successful Participants will be supported with updating their CV and applying for future opportunities and showcasing their expiernece and skills to succeed.
