Starts Monday the 21st of September at 9.30am

You will work with a dedicated Tutor on calls and via email. You will need to log on to the online learning platform at 9.30am each day for 1 hour and again at 1pm for one hour.

The tutor will set you assignments and will ask you to return the work each day. You will be sent feedback each day and you can also request a video call for one to one tutoring and support.

Who is this course for?

This qualification is designed to prepare learners for employment and support learners who are new to the Hospitality sector and wish to improve their knowledge of this area. It is also relevant for people in a current role looking to develop their skills (even if you are currently on furlough) resulting in the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification.

Introduction to the Hospitality Industry

Customer service in the Hospitality Industry

Introduction to Healthy Eating

Front Office Operations

Introduction to food commodities

Principles of well-being at work

Maintaining personal well-being at work

Maintaining personal physical and mental health at work

How is the course delivered?

All of our Lockdown Learning courses are completed via our online learning platform supported with interactive resources and webinars to cover the key topics where you can interact with a tutor and your peers. You will be supported throughout by one of our tutors who will review your progress.

Course Summary

Level 1 Certificate in the principles of maintaining Personal Well-Being at work

Level 1 Award in Introduction to the Hospitality Industry

Level 1 Award in Behaviours Attitudes and Attributes required for Employment

 

Learners need to be 19+ and unemployed or earning less than £16,000pa with access to a an email account, a tablet or laptop with internet connection. You must also have lived in the EU for 3 years to be eligible for funding.
