You will be working on a busy reception desk, responsible for signing up new members, checking in existing members, taking payments for stock and membership sales, taking bookings and ensuring guests sign in.
You will be providing a professional and friendly customer service, answering queries both over the phone and face to face. As part of the general administrative duties, you will be responsible for maintaining records of deliveries and forwarding invoices to the finance team for payment. You will also be responsible for assisting with marketing and communications, using our new management systems to gather data.
We are working towards a paperless office approach and we expect this role to be able to help transfer paper records to IT based systems, with the ability to be able to create new, more efficient ways of recording data.
We would like you to help us in expanding our Social Media presence on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram and developing a monthly news email to customers.
The role will invoice basic tasks like opening mail, counting the till float, cashing up, signing in contractors as well as using your own initiative at quiet times assisting us promote the centre.
We would like the person to be able to work on their own after training and have willingness to complete courses either online or in-house on First Aid, Safeguarding and Customer Service and be an important part of our close nit team.
A willingness to achieve tasks at the end of each working day is a must and we can teach you many of the above skills required.
Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
Customer service skills
Attention to detail and quality focused
Excellent IT skills, good with Excel and Word
Maths and English GCSE C or above

Working pattern:
11.30 till 4.30 Mon-Thu
Rotating Saturday and Sunday each week 12.30 to 5.30
