East Midlands Airport Academy can help you access employment opportunities across the Airport site.
This is an Assessment day to identify learners for a two week pre-employment Customer Service course starting 2.09.19.
The Customer Service level 2 qualification can lead you to a wide variety of opportunities available in retail,catering, hospitality, logistics, ramp agents, airport security and car park assistants.
This course gives you the opportunity to gain a level 2 Customer Service qualification. The course will include site familiarisation, confidence and motivation building, interview skills, security awareness and assistance with job applications.
It only takes 2 weeks to complete.
(Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm).
Once completed we will continue to support you by putting you forward for vacancies.
Most jobs are seasonal/temporary and involves shift work or unsociable hours, so you will need to consider this when applying for any airport based roles.
Most airport employment requires evidence of 5 years employment history due to the security aspects of all roles within an airport.
age 19+(age 19 by 31.08.18), unemployed and claiming UC, JSA IS or ESA WRAG OR employed but earning less than £15,736.50 pa.
Must have been in EU for more than three years and resident in UK.
Current, valid photo ID (full/provisional driving licence or passport) desirable.
