Empleo are based in Sherwood and work with local people and community groups to support people who are at risk of being left out because they are unable to access mainstream careers services.
We support a really wide range of people; we work with school-age children to explore creative writing and thinking as ways to enhance their lives and career prospects, and with offenders to support them back into employment. We also work with people who are unable to access online services due to either lack of finance or opportunity.
Empleo work one-one with young people, supporting them to access training, work experience and advice with the end goal of helping them find jobs and start successful careers.
We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) which means that whilst we are a business, our aims are socially-driven rather than to maximise profit and we reinvest any money we make back into the business or into the community.
