We have over £1m that your business could access via the grant schemes below:

Nottingham Jobs Fund

Nottingham Jobs fund supports SME employers (with 250 employees or less) to create jobs and apprenticeships for unemployed City residents who are 16+ and meet certain criteria.

We contribute a grant of £3,500 towards salary costs plus an additional £500 grant to cover the cost of training.

To be eligible for funding, employers must:

  • create a new role
  • guarantee twelve months work
  • be at least 35 hours per week
  • pay the National Minimum Wage

Nottingham Jobs Fund Plus

Nottingham Jobs Fund Plus (NJF+) supports employers to create jobs and Apprenticeships for unemployed Nottingham City residents who are aged 18-29 and meet certain criteria.

We contribute to 70% of the National Minimum Wage (between £3,030 - £3,981 dependent on age) plus a £500 grant to cover the cost of training.

A dedicated mentor will be available to support the new employee throughout the year. To be eligible for funding, employers must:

  • create a new role
  • guarantee six months work
  • be at least 30 hours per week
  • pay the National Minimum Wage

Nottingham Apprenticeship Grant

Local employers could be eligible for a grant of £1,000 if they recruit an unemployed or economically inactive 16-24 year old apprentice.
