The Prince’s Trust has partnered with Nottingham University Hospital Trust to offer this fantastic opportunity for young people looking to start a career in a hospital or the care industry.
Are you 18 - 30? Looking for work?
The programme involves a 2-week training academy – the same training the hospital offers to all new HCAs starting with them – and then 4 weeks practical experience on a hospital ward working as a Healthcare Assistant!
All young people on the programme will be encouraged to complete their Care Certificate, which is a qualification recognised by hospitals and care homes nationally as a sign of excellence in care.
Everyone achieving the certificate will be eligible for bank work with the hospital and anyone who completes the programme will be guaranteed an interview for any Band 2 role they apply for.
You will also benefit from up to six months ongoing support after the end of the programme.
Taster session: 20th August 2019
The course runs from 16th September – 25th October 2019
This great new opportunity is open to all work-ready young people, aged 16-30, who are currently un- or under employed and are passionate about the healthcare sector.
