If you’ve been out of work for a year or more, going back to work can be stressful. Maybe you’ve been out of work because of Covid, or you might have been at home looking after the kids, been made redundant or maybe you’ve taken a break for health reasons.
Whatever your situation, we can help with our Return to Work programme.
We’ll start off by helping you to work out how going back to work might affect your benefits, as well as giving you info on the extra help you can get such as free childcare and back to work grants.
Next you’ll have the chance to take part in a session to help you with interviews, including how to answer those tricky interview questions and tips for dealing with online interviews.
The final session will be a chance to meet with employers and find out about the jobs they have available, as well as to explore the free courses you can do, right up to Level 3.
It’s a brilliant way to take those first steps back into employment
The Return to Work programme will focus on jobs and training in the Health and Social Care sector and is a brilliant way to take those first steps back into employment. Even if you’ve never worked in Care or even considered working in Care, come along and find out why Care might just be the job for you.
Why should I take part?
You don’t have to go back to work on your own.
You will be with a group of people in exactly the same position as you.
You won’t be competing against everyone else who is looking for a job. No more applying for jobs and not hearing anything back.
You will be guaranteed an interview with an employer by taking part in the programme.
You will be given the support and information you need to get back into work. No more wondering what your options are from a benefits and childcare perspective.
Why should I look at jobs/training in the Health and Social Care sector?
You don’t need previous experience.
Growing job sector - more jobs than candidates.
Flexible roles available so you can fit work around your family/health.
Job satisfaction - make a difference to someone else’s life.
