16-24 year old through the new Government Kickstart Scheme.

The Kickstart Scheme is the creation of new 6-month job placements for young people (aged 16-24-years-old) who are currently on universal credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

Robin Hood Dungeon is part of the Geek Retreat Franchise as Greek Retreat Nottingham in the city center offering Tabletop games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering, Yugioh, Board Games and geeky merchandise.  They are now looking for a HR Assistant:

Work With Head Office and the Local team to ensure that all staff are up to date on their training, as well as offering extra training by interfacing with training providers, Head Office and the Local Directors.

Manage the day-to-day rotas and staff hours, including sending details to payroll.

Daily Tasks

  • Seeking out and implementing improvements to administration processes
  • Supporting the business by providing timely and accurate people data
  • The accurate input of data into our HR system

You will also be involved in the following

  • Assisting in the recruitment of new employees
  • Working with other managers, improving employees' experiences of the workplace
  • Keeping employee records
  • Promoting equality, and health and safety
  • Help in the development of HR policies and procedures
  • Recording and analysing confidential information
  • Reviewing rotas and hours work and collating information for HR company

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong IT skills – in particular Excel and HR systems
  • Organised and the ability to work to deadlines
  • The ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • Outstanding attention to detail and the highest level of accuracy
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills – friendly, approachable and professional
  • Great communication skills, both orally and in writing

Working Pattern

25 hours per week to include working around these dates and hours - Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm – Flexibility around these hours required
