Apprenticeship summary

As a Software Development Apprentice, you will:  
•    Provide critical technical support for solutions and services as part of our UK Operational Rail Market team
•    Work directly with our customers within the rail industry
•    Assess and resolve technical systems issues
•    Work with colleagues to identify root-causes behind problems, before developing, testing and implementing permanent solutions
•    Develop experience across the software development and support sector

•    Advanced Apprenticeship Software Development Technician L3 (equivalent to A level / Highers educational level)
•    Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer (Java track)
•    Microsoft MTA Software Development Fundamentals (C# track)
•    BCS Systems Development Essentials
