About the role:

We’ve got an exciting opportunity available for a talented Assistant Manager to join our innovative and forward thinking City Centre Public Realm team. We are a multi-skilled team led by a Senior Operations Manager. We have big plans for the future of this team and we welcome applications from those who are keen to develop their career, be creative with service delivery and be part of the exciting plans for our city Centre.

Ability to manage the day to day performance of a public realm team, effectively planning work in a cost-effective way, assigning work to crews and keeping accurate records of work completed.

Ability to oversee other Public Realm services, especially out of hours services.

Ability to deliver a city-wide responsive, City Centre focussed street cleansing and grounds maintenance service.

Ability to liaise with Partners and Stakeholders to take ownership of any issues and to resolve them swiftly and effectively.

Must be able to work a 4 days on 4 days off shift pattern starting at 03:30 and finishing at 14:30.

Must hold a clean, valid UK driving licence
