This vacancy is open to applicants who are currently unemployed in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Way2Work is a fully funded ESF project run by Futures and its partners with the aim of supporting unemployed people into sustainable employment.

About the Role

As an Ace care assistant, you’ll play a vital role in the lives of our service users, allowing them the ability to stay in the comfort of their own homes.

  • Companionship – Providing companionship to service users, treating them with dignity, patience and compassion at all times.
  • Personal Care – Help with getting in and out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
  • Overseeing medication – Assisting service users with varying medication, full medication training provided before you begin.
  • Dailytasks –Many of our service users require support getting around, and help with tasks in the house (e.g. Assisting service users with meal preparation, picking up a prescription or shopping.).
  • We offer free training and personal development. We strongly believe in Professional progression and offer opportunities for promotion.
  • All we ask that you have a genuine caring nature and the compassion, empathy and support to offer our clients.
  • We offer enhanced rates of pay for drivers. Free uniform and ID is provided.

About the Company

Ace Care 4 U Limited is a domiciliary Care Agency who provides support to individuals in their own home around the Nottingham City and Nottingham County areas. We are an established home care provider with over 10 years’ experience and are CQC registered, with a GOOD rating on our last inspection. We provide support to people aged 18+, and each package of care is person centred to meet the needs and preferences of the client. We provide support for persons with physical disabilities, Mental Health support needs, Age related conditions including Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
