About the employer:

Nottingham City. We are a multidisciplinary team, led by an Educational Psychologist and consisting of a range of professionals with diverse backgrounds. We have big plans for the future of our MHST and are welcoming applications who are keen to develop their career, be creative with service delivery and be part of providing outstanding services to support Children’s and Young People’s mental health in Nottingham City.

About the role:

Mental Health support Teams are based within schools and work collaboratively with Mental Health Leads in educational settings to support Children and Young people in accessing the right support at the right time.  The aims of the Mental Health Support Teams include developing a whole school approach to mental health, supporting the Mental Health Lead to work to access specialist support if needed and to provide 1-1, group and parent led interventions to support Children and Young People and their families.    


Our EMHPs work with allocated educational settings which enables them to develop a relationship with the education community and promote awareness.  We have developed a range of workshops and groups for staff, caregivers and Children and Young People and there are plenty of opportunities to be creative or develop a specialist interest.

Full Time , Hours per week – 37
