About the role:
To promote the emotional health and wellbeing of children and young people within the City
To work in an advisory capacity supporting schools in developing and implementing effective Emotional Health and Wellbeing policies and programmes in line with national guidance and the local Trauma informed practise charter.
To develop children’s and young people’s resilience to reduce the risk of mental ill-health in childhood and adulthood
To develop the children’s workforce with skills to support children and young people who may be experiencing emerging or current emotional health difficulties through the creation and delivery of the trauma informed and restorative Training programme
To contribute to relevant local strategies as appropriate, in particular The Local Transformation Plan and the vulnerable learner strategy.
