Nottingham Playhouse is delighted to be supported by Theatre Artists Fund in being able to offer this unique opportunity for a Trainee Scenic Artist. This post would suit an early-career arts or cultural professional looking to re-train and gain experience in becoming a Scenic Artist.
This is a full-time, 2-year paid role which will equip the post-holder with the experience, understanding and contacts to perform the role within other Arts or Cultural organisations or as a freelance worker within the industry.
No previous scenic art experience is necessary, but an understanding of the production and making process within producing theatre would be an advantage. We will provide on-going support, training and equipment to enable the post-holder to fulfil all aspects of the role.
