Job Description

About the role:

This role is to provide maternity cover for a period of one year, however could lead to permanent position. Immediate start following safer recruitment process.

We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and professional tutor who will be responsible for delivering, training and mentoring to a range of employed learners.

This role would suit people who:
• Are Customer Service or Business Admins looking for development
• Want to prepare for a promotion
• Wish to improve their knowledge of Mental Health
• Are newly redundant and want to achieve a qualification to support them back into work

This is an exciting opportunity enabling you to support people to develop in work and deliver high quality learning.

Skills and experience:

• Delivery of Training Programmes to groups of learners and online
• Design and Adaptation of programmes to meet the individual needs of learners
• Assessing Learners work against Awarding Body criteria
• Maintaining Learner Progress towards their goals if unemployed
• Experience in delivering Customer Service, Team Leading and Mental Health
• Pastoral/mentoring support to learners including ensuring Individual Learning Plans are up to date, that non-attendance is followed up and requesting additional learning support where necessary
Person Specification
• PTLLs, Award in Education and Training or equivalent as a minimum
• Ability to consistently produce work which is of a high standard in regard to OFSTED and Awarding body requirements
• Ability to teach high quality remote learning
• Ability to relate to people at all levels and to empathise with their situations
• Passionate about supporting people into work
• Excellent Organisational Skills
• Ability to work under pressure
