Who Are We?

We are the National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham.

The largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands with 2 Olympic sized ice pads, one of which converts to become an arena with a crowd capacity of 10,000.

At our venue we showcase the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment, and sport. We host over 100 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors each year.

We are also home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team, who play 30+ home league & cups games each season.

What do we offer?

Full Time (40 hours per week)

Up to £28,000 per annum (dependant on experience)

25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

Option to purchase additional leave.

Who Are We Looking For?

Sales Executive

Working alongside the Sales Manager, our Sales Executive will help generate revenue for the Commercial and Sales team, whilst achieving departmental targets. 

The Sales Executive will proactively arrange a stream of sales appointments for advertising, sponsorship, and conferencing via desk search, phone calls, and attending networking events. 

They will meet, present and conduct venue show-rounds, Host on event nights and negotiate bespoke packages to suit the needs of our customers.

In addition, our Sales Executive will build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships with all our clients and agencies to maximise revenue opportunities and renewal rates.  They will ensure customer requirements are understood and managed effectively to drive repeat business and increase spend.

They will proactively identify opportunities to convert small conference and event bookings ensuring revenue is maximised and clients have a positive experience.  This will include managing the bookings from enquiry to confirmed stage, answering enquiries, confirming conference details, managing the conferencing calender and producing invoices.

With previous experience in a similar role, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how they can develop high value leads over the telephone and email.

They will have excellent commercial awareness and the ability to build, and maintain, relationships with customers and partners.

With strong organisational skills they will be able to prioritise and manage their time effectively.  Innovative with the ability to work independently they will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Due to the nature of our business this role will involve working late nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
