About the role:
Nottingham City Council Adult Social Care is a welcoming and supportive department, where Social Workers strive to achieve person centred outcomes, with a focus on choice, independence and control for the citizen. This is achieved via a strengths based approach for citizens from all parts of the community, and by developing and maintaining strong working partnerships with local health and voluntary organisations.
The department comprises various assessment and review focused teams, as well as specialised services and programmes / project teams that focus on re-engaging citizens with their community and encouraging creative support planning.
Mental Health Social Care Teams are specialist teams that commission and review a wide variety of packages of care for citizens who are in contact with secondary mental health services, with the aim of promoting independence and wellbeing
