About the employer:

We have five leisure centres and a theatre in the borough, all managed by the council.

About the role:

An opportunity has arisen to join our Welfare Team as the Tenant Liaison Officer.

This is a varied and interesting role; the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all Council owned and leased properties used for temporary accommodation and people placed in other short term accommodation, and will carry out visits, complete risk assessments and manage the rents system.

You will have experience of working within a housing or welfare environment and you will be a confident communicator with the ability to take a diplomatic and sensitive approach to customer’s needs. You must be able to work to strict deadlines and pay attention to detail, be resilient in the face of difficult situations that can arise and have the confidence and ability to make decisions and come up with solutions.
