Exciting administration opportunity for a 16-24 year old through the new Government Kickstart Scheme.

The Kickstart Scheme is the a new initiative to introduce 6-month job placements for young people (aged 16-24-years-old) who are currently claiming Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.


Job Summary

AW Safety Management Limited are offering an opportunity for a junior sales administrator to become part of a growing company who are focused on delivering world class health and safety training and consultancy services to businesses in the Nottingham, Leicester and Sheffield areas.

This role involves working alongside the business development team to ensure all administration is up to date to ensure a smooth sales and operational process.

We’re looking for someone who is really willing to learn and grow within the company and who is confident in their ability to communicate on the phone, via email and on basic computer systems.

You will be responsible for completing booking forms, emailing clients, updating our sales trackers, updating reports, keeping notes in meetings, invoicing, accreditation uploading and much more (full training will be given).


Essential skills, experience and qualifications

You have a passion for improving your education and learning – via reading, audiobooks, training courses, face to face learning etc.

We need someone who can work on their own and as part of a team.

You will be personable and punctual, as time management will be a major part of the role.

We’re looking for a person who is genuinely happy keeping on top of a large administration workload.


Details of employability support provided during placement

The successful candidate will receive a robust induction plan as well as ongoing support. The administration team will adopt a buddying system in order to support the new starter via one-to-one mentorship and, in addition, the successful candidate will complete sales training to enhance their understanding of the sales process.

Futures will provide employability support to candidates, including CV and application form writing, interview techniques, working as part of a team and basic employability skills such as presentation and time management.
