Exciting sales opportunity for a 16-24 year old through the new Government Kickstart Scheme.

The Kickstart Scheme is a new initiative to introduce 6-month job placements for young people (aged 16-24-years-old) who are currently claiming Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.


Job Summary

AW Safety Management Limited are offering three opportunities for business-to-business Trainee Sales Executives to become part of a growing company who are focused on delivering world class health and safety training and consultancy services to businesses in the Nottingham, Leicester and Sheffield areas.

We are looking for driven and dedicated individuals who are looking for their opportunity to get into sales. This is a business-to-business sales role involving lead generation, business development and appointment setting through telesales and cold calling.

We need someone who is willing to learn and grow within a small team of sales individuals.

With the support of your team, you will be responsible for filling our training courses with delegates by making cold calls to businesses in the East Midlands and Yorkshire, as well as bringing in new business for our consultancy side of the business.


Essential skills, experience and qualifications

You have a passion for improving your education and learning – via reading, audiobooks, training courses, face to face learning etc.

We need someone who can work on their own and as part of a team.

You will be personable and punctual, as time management will be a major part of the role.

We’re looking for a person who is genuinely happy making outbound B2B cold calls.


Details of employability support provided during placement

The successful candidate will receive sales training and a robust induction plan as well as ongoing support through training and one to ones.

Futures will provide employability support to candidates, including CV and application form writing, interview techniques, working as part of a team and basic employability skills such as presentation and time management.
