This is an exciting opportunity to secure a leading role in the Parking business unit of the Parking, Fleet and Transport Services department at Nottingham City Council.
The post holder will be responsible for the management and leadership of all aspects of parking performance throughout the Nottingham City Council administrative area which includes 3 multi-storey car parks, 7 surface car parks, 14 district car parks and 1,400 on-street parking bays, as well as over 800 cashless parking spaces.
You will be the strategic lead for the service, as well as managing the frontline parking operation and you will be required to employ significant management skills to guide the service through a period of large scale change, whilst maintaining the successful performance of this large, income-generating business unit.

- A successful background in the management of transformational change and service improvement
- Proven leadership and management skills and detailed knowledge of performance management principles
- Experience of working in a contractual environment and undertaking procurement and tendering exercises, along with experience of the development and management of service level agreements
- Detailed knowledge and experience of operational management, ideally in a parking environment
