Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA) is one of the largest locally based housing organisations in the East Midlands. Across the region we manage over 9,000 homes; house more than 15,000 tenants; provide over 1,500 bed spaces for people with support/care needs, in over 250 properties; and provide more than 950,000 hours of care and support each year.
The Personalised Support Team (PST) North offers a range of community based support to service users across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Our friendly and supportive team are looking for an excellent communicator and organiser to join NCHA as a Rota Co-ordinator.
The main aspect of your role will be organising the delivery of social care and support. If you have an eye for detail and you are focused on getting it right the first time, we want to hear from you!
You will have an NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Administration and have demonstrable IT experience including the use of Microsoft office based applications (Word, Excel). Why is this necessary? Well, you will be responsible for providing an effective and comprehensive administration service to support the work of the PST Team. Some of your duties will include: processing invoices, producing reports and providing a reception service – as you can see, the role is varied!
It is essential that you are reliable and have the ability to be flexible in order to respond to the needs of the service. In addition, excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise your workload and work efficiently under pressure is also essential.
Our Worksop site is easily accessible by train (Nottingham to Worksop) and is a short 5 minutes taxi ride away from Worksop train station. The site offers FREE parking spaces should you have access to your own vehicle – Bonus!

Working days and hours:
Your normal working pattern will cover 37 hours per week usually within office hours Monday to Friday. However you may be expected to cover some out of hours duty shifts between the hours of 07.00am - 22.00pm Monday to Sunday.
