OSE Consulting are a medium sized structural engineering consultancy based in the centre of Nottingham. Due to our expanding work load we are looking for enthusiastic person to join our growing team and to develop our BIM Autocad services.

 

OSE Consulting are a medium sized structural engineering consultancy based in the centre of Nottingham. Formed in 2008 OSE initially concentrated on providing a specialist structural engineering service to the Leisure Industry. Following a period of sustained growth OSE Consulting now provide a broad service working with developers, architects and contractors on both public and private sector projects, from designing new buildings through to adapting and refurbishment of existing buildings. Sectors which we now work in include Commercial, Educational, Heritage, Industrial, Retail, Sports and Leisure, Healthcare, Residential, Marine and Mixed-use Developments.

Due to our expanding work load we are looking for enthusiastic person to join our growing team and to develop our BIM Autocad services. 

Duties

  • Working as part of team of structural Engineers and technicians in a consultancy practice.
  • Undertaking structural detailing in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
  • Detailing of structural foundations and superstructure for commercial, leisure and local authority clients.
  • Working on a wide variety of building projects, including retail, leisure and industrial.
  • Experience in reinforced concrete detailing and scheduling preferred.
  • Visiting sites during construction works.
  • Liaising with other members of the Design / Construction Team.

Experience

  • A minimum BTEC ONC in Civil / Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience within Structural Engineering consultancy practice.
  • Good knowledge of structural detailing and construction techniques.
  • Good experience of using AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
  • IT literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
  • Full UK driving licence.
