Are you thinking of trying a new kind of work? Supporting someone to make the most of their potential is one of the most rewarding things you could do. That's what we do at Scope. Your values and attitude are more important to us than experience. We give full training.
At Scope, our mission is to drive social change so that disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. We want to achieve everyday equality and support disabled people to get the best start in life, live the life they choose and be financially secure.
As a Support Worker you can help us achieve our mission.
You’ll work as part of a team to provide everyday practical support to disabled adults in our Nottingham service.
Respectful, resourceful and reliable with an ability to adapt your approach, you’ll be committed to supporting disabled people to live fulfilling lives, assisting them with any medication and personal care requirements. You’ll need clear written and verbal communication skills, and a flexible approach to your work.
We offer an excellent annual leave allowance (35 days including bank holidays for full time staff), full induction and the opportunity to achieve a health and social care diploma. No experience is required, but you must be able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to make a difference to disabled people’s lives.
We're committed to equal opportunities and particularly welcome applications from disabled people. Successful applicants will need to have a enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
