What is Sustrans Access?
Sustrans Access works with jobseekers over the age of 16 years who are traveling to interviews, work and apprenticeships, training or skills courses or starting a new job.
Nottingham Bike Aid 2
After the success of Nottingham Bike Aid during lockdown Nottingham City Council have secured additional funding allowing RideWise, Sustrans and Nottingham Bike Works to continue to work together to offer personalised travel plans and bikes to low income workers. Bike Aid 2 focusses on workers who don’t have access to a car, want to avoid using public transport for their commute and may be finding it difficult to fund their own bike at this time.
-Living or working within the Nottingham City boundary
-Commuting to work
-No access to a car for their commute
-On a low income (earning below the real living wage, on a zero hour contract etc)*
*Priority given to keyworkers on a low income.
